Carsten Krohn studierte Architektur, Kunstgeschichte und Stadtplanung an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg, der Universität Hamburg und der Columbia University in New York. Er promovierte über Buckminster Fuller und ist Autor zahlreicher Publikationen.
