This book of exercises offers students helpful tips and support pertaining to handling cases in criminal law throughout their entire course of studies from the introduction to criminal law up to and including first state examinations. It is divided into three sections: The criminal law exercises within the scope of legal training will be adopted in the first section. In addition, general methodical principals of case handling as well as the special features to be observed in the course of exams and homework will also be presented. In the second section the "how" of solving cases will be made obvious through the structural schematics of the various types of offences. Then in the third section the practical assimilation follows with the help of ten exams and two homework assignments which are taken from the respective training sections: Beginner exercises, advanced exercises and first state examinations. They will be prepared through tips pertaining to the structure of solution outlines, and thereafter completely and comprehensively solved. More extensive tips are provided at the end for follow-up review and engrossment with regard to the respective emphases.
