In order to obtain standard sections for reproducible interpretation of the results of locomotor ultrasound, standardized section planes are essential. This book offers practical instruction in imaging standard sections as recommended by the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM). For each standard section, it presents the correct transducer positioning, ultrasound images, and MRI images for comparison.
