This volume contains extensive professional, conceptual, and social-biographical interviews with experts of a special kind: actors of the second hierarchy who were responsible for GDR history propaganda and who had a lot of influence and impact. These interviews, which were conducted about 25 years ago, testify to an epoch and help to explain how history propaganda worked as a system.
