Kohelet was one of the great thinkers of ancient Judah. His empirical studies led him to the insight that, although there is no permanence for man, that is no reason for resignation. Instead, the present can be understood as a scope of action given to man by God. This volume elucidates the anthropological and theological profile of this work with a complete interpretation and by providing helpful contextualization.
