This work does not seek to relay the contemporary debate on collective legal protection in civil law, but rather to address the most pressing substantive and legal questions concerning collective protection from the perspective of the editor as a practitioner. It considers the positions of Germany's political parties, along with excerpts from Bundestag and EU documents and relevant case law from the Federal Constitutional Court.
