Critical theory and philosophical anthropology are considered opposing movements. However, Plessner and Adorno, as this book argues, can be brought together under the term negative anthropology. Alongside an in-depth discussion, the author also addresses their critiques of modernism and the history of philosophy. He thus helps to develop a new perspective on the relationship of both philosophical schools.
