Even after suffering a stroke in 2016, A. Hill could still remember some of her favorite poems.

You could hear her recite "God Did His Spring Cleaning" in doctor's offices, banks and at family gatherings. And if there was time, you'd have a laugh with "My Yoyo."

A. Hill was born in 1934, the fifth child of eight. With three older brothers, she loved being outdoors doing all the things boys did.She loves God, nature, her parents long gone, her siblings both passed and still here and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her writing reflects all that love.
