Since childhood, Lirisi's mother warned her that the life of a changeling was one of danger and secrets. But she could have never imagined the death and betrayal that awaited her in the sprawling kingdom of Freeden. On the run from the people she once considered family, and from a place she once called home, she is forced to parse through painful memories and confront the ruins of her past. Trapped within the walls of the capital, and fueled by a thirst for revenge, Lirisi quickly finds herself at the center of a plot decades in the making. A plot in which she happens to be an unwilling key player.

Though Abby Ramsay is new to the world of publishing, she is certainly not new to the world of storytelling. Abby received her bachelors degree in acting from AMDA, where much focus was put on building worlds and developing characters. Both are skills that she has put to work in the creation of the world of Ahna, and the story of Faceless. Though her focus was acting, she found a particular joy in her script writing and creative writing classes that stuck with her.

When the acting industry came to a halt in 2020, she decided to spend her time writing, branching out from scripts and screenplays to explore the world of books. She returned to the story she had been playing with for years, and the world of Ahna finally began to take shape.
