Adam I. Riker, M.D., F.S.S.O., F.A.C.S., was born in Syracuse, New York, graduating high school at 16, and enlisting in the U.S. Army. He earned a B.S. in Biology and an M.D. from the University of South Florida. Dr. Riker completed his general surgery residency at Loyola University in Chicago, and a 3-year surgical oncology fellowship at the NCI, NIH, Surgery Branch. His current clinical practice specializes in the surgical management of breast cancer, melanoma & sarcoma. He has held numerous leadership positions and is well-published. He currently resides in Naples, Florida, enjoying his gratifying work as a cancer surgeon, along with quality time with his two daughters.
