How far can one woman go to reclaim her life before the past demands its due?

Nikita Mathur grows up surrounded by privilege, unaware of just how stifled she is by the traditions, secrets and silences of her powerful Rajasthani family. When her childhood innocence is shattered by those she holds dear, Nikita learns that survival is not a gift but a skill and that every choice she makes must be a negotiation for freedom.

As Nikita navigates turbulent marriages and hard-won success in her career, she is compelled to confront what it could take to break the patterns of oppression that have existed for generations.

Gripping and emotionally layered, Nikita is a riveting novel about a gutsy woman's fight to rewrite her destiny.
