The book is an attempt to examine the phenomena of community participation, sustainable forest management and sustainable development with reference to the forest policies, forest acts and other relevant documents of different countries. Different sections and relevant portions of the policy documents have been quoted to perceive the changes in approaches towards the concept of community participation for sustainable forest development.
