Amber rises from her grave and finds a note stuck to her headstone. She turns up and faces an old enemy. He tells her a slayer is in town. What's more, he wants a favour from her. At first, she refuses. Then a turn of events makes her rethink.

As the war of darkness and light begins, Amber realises she and the slayer share a past. But his purpose is very different from that of his ancestor.

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1964, but moved to Renfrew when I was seven.
