Leopold has been searching for the supernatural for most of his life. What he finds is not as mystical as he first thought. There are classes and tests, and more bureaucracy than wonder.
Yet, nothing could have prepared Leopold for finding a supernatural mate, a mate unlike any other.
A hive is strong, the stronger the bigger they are. When they see Leopold and know him to be theirs, the hive comes to realize that they will need all of their strength, as much of it as their five bodies allow. After all, no matter how many parts a hive is made up of, they are one consciousness and few can match that.
