The significance of food and horti - forestry resources is on top of the agenda of all those who are concerned with food, nutrition and environmental issues. The book is an attempt to compile a wealth of information on food plant resources and temperate Horticulture and Forest plants of western Himalaya viz., manmade eco-system, agrobio- diversity and natural eco-system as store house of medicinal and aromatic plants, less known edible plants, flowers and wild relatives of crop plants.
