Tyler Ortez was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Earth Quad Force. She didn't have time for a social life and kept to herself. She was a lifer and wanted to be old and gray when she retired from the Force.

Benz Clach is the epitome of a warrior, six feet seven of muscle and brawn. He's a hybrid, half-human and half-Drole, an alien species that can breathe carbon monoxide and oxygen. He's an interspecies and a captain with The Earth Quad Force commanding a massive battle starship, Viking One.

While on R&R, he's looking for a specific type of female, one hundred percent human, and primarily a fair-haired one. Tyler fits the bill but wears the wings of an officer.

He's rough, demanding, and cold-blooded. He has no time for romance.

Benz will take Tyler to heights of passion in the dark recesses of the unknown. She will break every vow she has ever made as she submits to the savage, brute alien captain.

Benz always gets what he wants and surprises Tyler by saying it is her that he wants to be with forever.
