Tommy believed he was refurbishing a vintage motorcycle for a friend. Money was exchanged, and once Tommy began, he would have done the rebuild for free.

There was one unusual quirk about the bike; the older man who had owned it said it was a time machine. On Tommy's first ride, he experiences what old Charlie meant. He wound up in 1979, meeting another so-called time traveler named Cassidy. She takes him on one heck of a ride and introduces him to the club Outlaw Titans.
