A cook in the kitchen of a local pub, George only ever wanted to live a quiet life, making people happy in his own small way, one meal at a time. Then he met another version of himself, and ALF, an artificial intelligence with a conscience. Now he's jumping between parallel worlds, always running to stay one step ahead of a killer. If the device he carries falls into the wrong hands, the entire multiverse is doomed.

Andrew Williams was born in 1978 in the exciting metropolis of Luton, Bedfordshire. He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Sussex, the most important part of which was the realisation that he didn't want to study mathematics any more. He now works for a local council in the IT support department, which mostly involves thinking up creative new ways to swear at computers.
He currently lives in Leicestershire as one of the cat's human slaves. She doesn't understand what he does all day on the weird machine in the study, but she has no objections as long as it brings in the cat food.
