Born in the West Virginia, majored in literature and Religion at the University of Virginia, received a Masters of Divinity at Yale. Pastored 7 years in New Jersey before being called to Colombia, South America almost 40 years ago. In 1994 he and his wife planted the Comunidad in the most dangerous city of this hemisphere. It is now the largest church in the city of Medellin, with over 8,000 people attending each week. Andrew now is devoting his time to writing, church planting and helping the unity between the churches.
