The heart of this book lies in the Cape Flats in the Western Cape, and these poems are about the gangs that operate there. The Cape Flats ? My Story deals with the murders, rapes and killings conducted by gangs in this beautiful part of South Africa.

Above all, these poems are inspired by the people of the Cape Flats who are "run" by these gangs.
