In Awe is a collection of poems about God and creation, often with a sense of the ridiculous.

Anita grew up from Louisville to Long Island New York, New Jersey to the St Lawrence Seaway and points in between. She spent two years in Sitka, Alaska where she took religious studies at Sheldon Jackson College. She has been writing poetry since the seventh grade. She has a deep abiding faith and a subtle sense of humor which comes out in many of her poems. She currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky.
