Writing has been important to Ann since she was a young child. This led her to earn a bachelor's degree in English and to relish her creative writing courses. But it was only after having children of her own that she discovered a more specific passion for writing children's books. To Ann, motherhood is both challenging and joyful, and she is grateful for what it is teaching her. She and her husband are raising their four children in sunny southern Utah. In addition to writing, Ann loves singing, painting, being in the mountains, serving in her church, and playing pickleball.
