Becky Collins was still mourning the loss of her beloved cat, Marty, who had lived to the impressive age of twenty-one. Hoping to ease the emptiness, she adopted two adorable kittens from a rescue centre. One of the kittens shocks Becky by possessing the ability to speak. When her other kitten, Cally, was catnapped from the backyard, Becky was devastated. She had never felt such a gut-wrenching sense of loss and worry as she did that day, the brazen act leaving her stunned and heartbroken. With Penny's help, she scoured the neighbourhood, until they ended up at a rundown house a few streets away.
