Annemarie Nikolaus began literary writing at the beginning of 2001. After publishing many short stories, her first novel was published in 2005. She now publishes her work independently.
She was born in Hessen and lived in Northern Italy for 20 years. In 2010, she moved to Auvergne, France with her daughter.
After studying psychology, journalism, politics and history, she worked as a psychotherapist, political advisor, journalist, lecturer and translator, among others.
