I Am a Princess was born in Orlando, Florida. It was created to inform young girls that there is no set of rules that define what a princess should look like. You do not need a fancy gown or crown to be a princess. No matter what your ethnic background is, anyone can be a princess if they believe it is so.

Annette Hughes a country girl from Mississippi, who lives in Flint, Michigan has a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Annette has worked with children ages 6 weeks to 10 years of age for the past 14 years. Annette found her passion for writing while reading a variety of children books to the children at the childcare center in which she works.
