Once upon a time, there was a Queen in a castle. This Queen is actually a horse, and her castle is a barn. She loves eating garden vegetables, sunbathing in fields of wildflowers, and taking horseback rides with children. Through rhythmic verses, this picture book provides children a glimpse into a horse's daily life, revealing the profound bond between child and animal.

Annie M. Wyatt fell in love with books as a child and now writes to inspire the same love of reading in the next generation. A graduate of Parsons and NYU, she lives in North Carolina with her family. This is her second book.
