INSPIRING, INSIGHTFUL, ENLIGHTENING "No matter what your leadership role is in the church, you need this book." The title "POWER" beautifully highlights Jesus Christ as our Model for Leadership, inviting you to focus on your inner self rather than just your skills. This book stands apart from typical leadership guides; it doesn't just dive into techniques, styles, or practical steps. Instead, it gently encourages us to explore how leaders might sometimes overlook the importance of personal time, self-reflection, and spiritual growth. It's important to evaluate our motives, attitudes, and reasons for leading, ensuring they align with our Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Sometimes, we might drift away from our true purpose by trying to guide others based mainly on our expertise, skills, and personal interests, unintentionally neglecting Christ in the process. This drift can be subtle, often leading us to feel a sense of inner emptiness. Our Savior maintained a close relationship with the Father, realizing that authentic leadership flows from the richness of His inner life. He never compromised those precious moments, prioritizing them even over the miraculous works He performed or the lessons He taught. We must embrace this mindset today, actively seeking a close, personal relationship with our heavenly Father. Not only does this bring us stability, but it also enhances our leadership roles in truly extraordinary ways.
