Nine-year-old Matty may have flunked third grade but he's a great inventor. Just ask his blue, stuffed dinosaur, Dino, who misses his family. Matty is, also, a dentist. Dino wear false teeth Matty made from his baby teeth. The Bratty family all think Dino sounds just like Matty.

Belinda has lived in a lot of cities. She was born near Los Angeles. She now lives in Florida and keeps an eye out for alligators. She doesn't want to cross them. She, also, avoids chickens. She wouldn't want a chicken to lay an egg on her foot because she is allergic to eggs.
Before writing kids' books, Belinda used to work as a Computer Scientist. Some of her brain farts looked like rockets.
Belinda became an orphan when she was 16 years old. She is married and has a son and a daughter.
When not hanging out with Matty in her brain, Belinda is dancing or doing Zumba.
