Autorentext

Brendan Bey, is a writer who served in the US Army and heard many of the sergeant's stories of the acts of murder, grand theft, and assaults of soldiers on the bases or posts. There was a story of a lone soldier on a three-hour pass found dead with a crushed skull next to a barracks hall. Another story was of a supply sergeant murdered to cover up theft of government property. This was a dismal time in the Army after the Vietnam War. Beating recruits is immoral and unproductive.
