Vorwort
The Last Weekend--A Story of Love, Loss, and HopeThere are over four million widows and widowers in the United States that face a new normal life because of the devastating loss of their spouse. My soulmate's death, one afternoon in April, also meant that all of our account passwords died with him, and his iPhone remains forever locked, unused, in a drawer. As a new widow, I needed a checklist of things to do; a guideline so that I didn't forget because of widow fog. I couldn't find one, so I created one in my book, The Last Weekend--A Story of Love, Loss and Hope. Shutting down a digital life is not an easy task for those left behind. I document my battle with grief, tasks to be done, and how to make it through the first thirteen months of your new normal life.
