First published in 1922, "Death and its Mystery, Before Death" by French astronomer and author Camille Flammarion is the first volume in a series that looks at life beyond the grave. The other volumes are "II: At the moment of Death" and "III: After Death."

This series searches for proof of the existence of the soul and it considers lots of Flammarion's personal accounts.
