Veronica and Hillary are both in the post office at the same time with Veronica right behind Hillary. In an attempt to get a look at the wall clock, Hillary accidentally steps on Veronica's foot. After the initial shock and apologies, the two learn they have something in common.

The more the two women talk the more the situation begins to make sense. Hillary is looking for her missing roommate that has been gone for over two weeks. Hillary realizes that Veronica is a Private Detective and asks to hire her to find her lost lover. When asked why she didn't go to the police she was quick to volunteer that her lesbian lifestyle would be exposed much to the shame of her family. Veronica and Hillary discuss the possible case over a cup of coffee to and determine what the cost will be, and can she even help if she doesn't find the missing girl.

The discussion moves to Hillary's townhouse and the two women decide if Hillary even has a job to offer Veronica, and for Veronica to determine if she even wants to take the case. The truth starts to emerge, and it appears their meeting in the post office was not an accident. And following a very, very private discussion in the lost roommate's bedroom, shocking secrets are revealed about Hillary and Veronica that neither thought possible.
