Carma Gagne Chan is the pen name chosen by this indie author to carry on a legacy of creativity, kindness and resilience learned from her parents, Ruth Gagne (French Canadian name pronounced "gah-NYAY") and Jon-Jon Chan, her joyful Chinese American stepdad.
Carma lives with her husband in southern California. She is a mom to two grown kids and is known as Gramma Carmels to three grandchildren. Her passion for early childhood education inspired her to create Gramma Carmels Picture Books. Carma enjoys writing fiction and non-fiction, and has completed several original screenplays, science fantasy novels, and family love stories. She also offers collections of nature photography with poetry.
