Out on the Farm is about the different activities performed on the farm from scattering corn for the hens to feeding the pig to watching the cat and mouse. After all the activities, it's time for a nap.

Born in the mountains of Arkansas to growing up in the Panhandle Plains of Texas, one of the many things Mrs. Bailey loved to do was play school with her brothers. After meeting her husband of 53years, Mrs. Bailey put her career on hold while raising her family of five children. After returning to work in the secular world, she taught first graders and pre-kinder students until retiring. Her students and her family were her inspiration to begin writing children's books. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and bird watching with her husband.
