I started learning house-keeping as a child from everyone around me. I was fascinated by the tiffin that students brought to school; even the simple placement of chapatti and sabzi fascinated me. I was enchanted with the way some ladies created wonders from the available resources. For example, they did crochet around a small piece of cloth, and very soon it looked a beautiful table mat nothing short of a master piece! This book is the essence of over two decades of my experiments, insights, and explorations to save time, yet, manage my home efficiently.
