This is a story about a young family who moved to a small town in rural Montana from Denver, Colorado. Their hope is to make a new start and save their marriage. Their experiences and adventures are both humorous and sad but always real and relatable.

The author and her family moved from Denver, Colorado to a ranch in a remote area near Kalispell, Montana in the early 1970's. This is her second book. The first one, Prairie Gem, tells a story about a pioneer family in Colorado.
