Hello! I'm Shipei, born in 1983 in sunny Singapore. In the year 2000, I made the most life-changing decision of my life ? I became a Christian, and I've never looked back since.
Languages have always been a passion of mine. As a native Chinese speaker, I scored a distinction in 'O' Level Chinese, and I continue to deepen my love for the language every day. I'm also an enthusiastic learner of Korean and Japanese, and I create language readers in all three languages to help others enjoy the journey of learning as much as I do.
Professionally, I hold a degree in Social Work and an advanced diploma in Kindergarten Teaching. As a kindergarten teacher, I've seen firsthand how challenging it can be to pick up a new language ? especially for young learners. That's why I design my readers to be simple, engaging, and effective.
