Hi, I'm Chong Shipei ? a Singaporean author passionate about stories, people, and lifelong learning. I became a Christian in 2000 during my junior college years, and that life-changing encounter with God continues to shape the way I live and connect with others. In my free time, I often lose myself in the world of wuxia novels, especially the classics by Jin Yong. His stories of courage, loyalty, and adventure continue to inspire me and remind me how powerful and alive the Chinese language can be.
With a degree in Social Work and an advanced diploma in Kindergarten Teaching, I have always been drawn to child development and helping others grow. My strong foundation in the Chinese language ? having earned a distinction in the 'O' Level Chinese exam ? fuels my love for creating stories that make learning Chinese engaging and accessible.
I now focus exclusively on writing and selling Chinese Readers, carefully crafted for learners of all ages. My goal is to make Chinese language learning approachable, enjoyable, and confidence-building, whether for beginners taking their first steps or for readers looking to strengthen their skills.
I currently live in Singapore with my parents and younger brother. Through my Chinese Readers, I hope to inspire a love for the language and open doors to deeper cultural connection.
