Christopher Jones is an artist, illustrator, cartoonist and "graphic designer working from home". He is also an ex - teacher, driving instructor and butler. His first book, "The Breath of the Zephyr" is a historical murder mystery with elements of the paranormal, spanning a two hundred year period from Venice in the eighteenth century, (no it's not another story about Casanova!) through World War Two and up to the nineteen fifties. to twentieth century England. The idea came to him after visiting a cousin who is an actor and lived in Cannaregio.

After leaving Goldsmith's College, London in 1979, he worked for two years in the art department of a publishing company. He then worked for many years as a Driving Instructor running a small but successful school in Fulham. On selling the business, he trained with The Ivor Spencer School for Butlers. His first position with a titled lady ended after a year when she was arrested for fraud and his second ended after 18 months due to insanity. (of the employer, not CJ)

In 2018 he moved with. His wife to a small town in Cyprus where he began writing a sequel. After deciding to split the first book into two stories, the result became a trilogy entitled The White Phantom City. The Final result is The Breath of the Zephyr, White Phantom City and Sorrow for the lost.
