CL Gammon has had a life-long fascination with the written word. This fascination has led to his authoring more than 70 books.
Gammon, studied Political Science at Tennessee Technological University and History and Government at Hillsdale College
Over the years, Gammon has received several prestigious honors and awards. He has twice received the Certificate of Appreciation for Service to the State of Tennessee (2018 and 2025), the Partisan Prohibition Historical Society Citation of Merit (the only two-time recipient), and nomination for the 2023 Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize.
Several universities, including the State University of New York, the University of Akron, and East Mississippi Community College, have utilized his books as course material.
Articles written by Gammon have appeared in more than a dozen national and regional publications. He has also written feature articles for his hometown newspaper, The Macon County Times.
CL Gammon lives in Lafayette, Tennessee.
