Clare Baker-Dukett is a retired Reading Specialist from the Sunnyside School District in Tucson, Arizona. Ms. Baker-Dukett has a Bachelor s Degree in English from Colorado State University and a Master s Degree in Reading from the University of Arizona. She and her husband, Pete Dukett, live in Tucson in the winter and the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona in the summer. Ms. Baker-Dukett is also the author of COOKIE THE CAT and VISIONS OF LIFE. Tyler Schafle, the illustrator, is a high school student in Tucson, Az. He plans to study art and use his talent professionally.
