The questions that arise are who are using this methodology, how they are using it and why it has not been more spread among companies. This paper tries to answer these questions based on the available literature including the most recent articles on the topic. It has been found that several western companies are catching interest on the methodology, but still, Triz has deepen its roots among eastern companies
