Pin in the Bush is a collection of think-songs and love-songs (earlixx and mindriffs). The statue is a symbol of the innocence and vulnerability of the little four year old girl, when the United States launched its attack against Iraq. Some of the writings within provoke thought around the unintended collateral damage and casualties caused by war. Others provide an interlude - a pause to remember the happiness and love found in life's moments, big or small.

Curt von Mueller, known as Von, was born in Evanston, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. He is of Danish, Swedish, and German decent. As a young boy going through school, he purely wanted to become educated, not vocationally trained. He later attended Lewis and Clark College in Oregon, where he pursued a liberal arts education while majoring in Economics. He has sought to focus his personal development on gaining perspective and understanding of the world at large. He has never intended to focus on a writing subject, but rather writes from thinking, looking, and perceiving his experiences and surroundings, and all of that being processed by his subconscious. Almost mystically, his subconscious directs him to write on these observations.
