Cynthia A. DiTaranto graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Sociology. She received her M.A.T. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J. She is a certified Hypno-Counselor, NLP practitioner/trainer and a Reiki Master. She is a former co-owner of Flanders Valley Farms Inc., a catering facility in Flanders, N.J. She has served as a trained volunteer at the Jersey Battered Woman0/00*ªs Shelter. She also volunteered as a Reiki practitioner at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Memorial Hospital in N.J. She currently serves on the Historic Advisory Committee for the Township of Roxbury, N.J. She resides at Little Sleepy Hollow Farm in New Jersey where she breeds champion Nigerian Dwarf goats. Top Of The Heap is her first children's book.
