Prayer is at once both the simplest and the most difficult discipline of the Christian life. Its simplicity is evident in its basic expression-talking to God. Its difficulty lies in the reality that prayer is at the heart of the spiritual battle within our souls-the surrender of our will and ways to that of God. These "Simple Thoughts on Prayer" lean into both aspects of prayer, with a focus on inviting God's people to make prayer a personal, powerful habit in their daily lives.
