Darlinda Hagens, a lifelong Oklahoman, writes contemporary Christian romance books. Her goal is to infuse faith in her fictional novels, short stories, and poetry, which inspired her website tagline Faith Infusing Fiction. Traveling is another thing she loves to do. Seeing fresh places and people inspires the emotional storylines and plots she writes about. However, her imagination also takes her to extraordinary destinations.
As a member of the Oklahoma Writers' Foundation, Inc. (OWFI), she has entered annual writing contests. In 2025, she entered two stories in an anthology, titled People, Places, and Pets, published by her writing group, Pen and Keyboard Writers. The book was a trophy winner. In 2024, she placed 3rd in the short-rhymed poems category. In 2023, she won a 1st Honorable Mention in the Unpublished Romance Books category. In 2020, she won first place in the Essay category.
Hard topics are what God gives her to write about, and she does not shy away from subjects that some find difficult. Healing comes from facing things that are not pleasant. So, buckle in, her stories will take you on a journey.
