Don't know how to pray? Here is a practical guide for people at all stages of faith with these 40 different ways to pray and meditate. "40 Ways in 40 Days" is a workbook and journal for expanding your repertoire of prayer and how the Spirit can use all of our senses to communicate with us through prayer. Each week you will explore different ways to pray that correspond to the different days of the week. Originally designed as a study for the season of Lent, "40 Ways in 40 Days" can be used any time of the year. It includes a chart for planning a season of prayer for your small group, Sunday school class, or congregation. The North Church study guides are ideal for both individual and small-group use, and as companion guides to sermon series. Each study guide includes background information and questions for personal reflection and small-group discussions. And all of the studies have been "road tested" with a real congregation - North United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
