When his father is killed by pirates, Bray is raised by the Tawshe?who everyone believes are murderous savages. Dave Skinner lives in Haliburton County with his artist wife, in a house they built themselves, after he retired, at 60, from a career in I.T. In addition to the three book series, Warriors, Heroes, and Demons, he has self published a Novella, Mystery at Whitetop, and the first novel (from Blood and Magic) in a new fantasy series named, Wizard's Spawn.
