David S. Younger MD PHD is an Adjunct Professor of Neurology at City University Medical School in the Division of Neuroscience, specializing in Neuromuscular Diseases and Neuro-Epidemiology. For the past three decades, his work has focused on disorders triggered by infection and autoimmunity. Dr. Younger is a highly trained neurologist and public health authority, and an expert in the use of immunotherapy to treat specialized childhood and adult neurologic disorders. He is former Associate Editor of Seminars in Neurology, editor of a Motor Disorders textbook; The Vasculitides; two volumes of the Neurological Clinics, and Human Lyme Neuroborreliosis, and The Science of Medical Cannabis, as well as a book on COVID-19. He has authored nearly 300 peer-reviewed articles, chapters, correspondence, and abstracts.
