Throughout history Gods presence has been equated with earthquakes, storms, and all types of disasters. But when Elijah, the prophet, looked for Gods voice, it was not in the great and powerful wind, nor the earthquake, nor in the fire. Gods voice was instead found in a quiet and gentle breeze. It is my prayer that these poems will speak to each reader in such a way that he/she might experience the presence of God.
Vorwort
God remembers that we are dust.(Psalm103:14) He gives us Psalms, songs, and poems to re-direct our focus and set our eyes upon Jesus.
Autorentext
In the book of Psalms is a line which reads: "Cease striving and know that I am God;" [Psalm46:10 (NAS)] I did not understand how to "cease striving" until an accident left me disabled. The things for which I had been striving, now seemed unimportant and my focus became my relationship to Jesus and others. As I continue to learn to focus on the things in life that really matter, emotional healing as well as physical healing has begun to take place. These poems are one result of that healing.
